Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle but powerful hands on treatment that helps your body to activate its own self-healing mechanisms. Pioneered by Dr. William Sutherland, and later developed by Dr. John Upledger, Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is supported by extensive and ongoing scientific research, as well as over fifty years of success in clinical and therapeutic settings. As a result, CST has gained widespread acceptance in both the medical and lay communities as an effective therapeutic method. Today there are over 50,000 people worldwide are trained to practice Craniosacral Therapy, including physiotherapists, massage therapists, physicians, dentists, osteopaths, acupuncturists and others.

The Inner Physician
Craniosacral therapy works with your body’s natural ability to heal itself. Our body has an inherent self-correcting and self-healing ability, sometime referred to as the “inner physician.” However when we become hyper-stressed due to various causes, this ability can become overworked, and eventually may break down. CST strengthens and revitalizes the “inner physician” by removing deep levels of stress from the body, allowing the natural capacity for self-healing to be restored.
